Marc Caruso is the Emmy-nominated Co-Founder and CEO of Angry Mob Music. With over 25 years of experience in music publishing and rights management, he has guided the company’s growth from a boutique startup into a respected, full-service independent publisher with a global reach. Marc’s career began in music editorial for film and television, where he served as Executive Producer at Red Arc Music Group and President of Reel Fusion, Inc., overseeing music editorial for major TV and film productions. His background on both the creative and operational sides of the business informs his leadership approach today.

At Angry Mob, Marc drives overall strategy across publishing, licensing, and administration, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and creative advocacy. He serves as a Board Director and past President of the LA Chapter of the Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP), and holds key roles with the National Music Publishers’ Association (NMPA), including participation on the Independent Publishers Advisory Council and Team 100. Based in Santa Monica with his wife and two children, Marc enjoys playing synths in his 80s cover band when not leading the charge at Angry Mob.
